After Wednesday’s practice, the big news for the Buffalo Bills was that Cole Beasley was not on the injury report. He had been dealing with a knee injury since suffering it against the New England Patriots in Week 16.

Unfortunately for the Buffalo Bills, Beasley was back on the injury report on Thursday as being a limited participant due to the knee injury. This could mean one of two things with the first being that the coaching staff just wanted to limit his workload to limit the impact on his knee.

This would be best-case scenario for the Buffalo Bills because the other situation is that he aggravated the knee injury during practice yesterday. The injury report tomorrow will be worth monitoring and if there is an injury designation that Beasley is given for this game.

The Bills starting slot receiver didn’t have an injury designation prior to the Baltimore Ravens so if he is listed as questionable this could be an indication that he hurt it during practice this week.

Beasley isn’t the only wide receiver dealing with an injury as Gabriel Davis did not practice for the second straight day. The rookie wide receiver suffered an ankle injury against the Ravens and while he was able to finish the game he was clearly impacted by it.

The fact that Beasley and Davis are dealing with injuries could mean the Buffalo Bills elevate Kenny Stills for the first time this season from the practice squad. The veteran receiver was added towards the end of the regular season but hasn’t played a snap yet for the Bills.

This could be an interesting matchup for Stills as the last time he played the Kansas City Chiefs was in the playoffs last year as a member of the Houston Texans. He had an impact in that game with three receptions for 80 yards and a receiving touchdown.

Should the Bills elevate Devonta Freeman this week?. dark. Next

The Buffalo Bills will be back on the practice field tomorrow for their last practice of the week prior to Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. They will release their official injury report after practice.
