The Kansas City Chiefs are the best team the Buffalo Bills have faced all year and that is due to the fact that the Chiefs are one of the best teams in the entire NFL. They have talent and playmakers on both sides as evidence of their seven Pro Bowl selections this year.

Any list of players to watch on the Kansas City Chiefs starts at quarterback with Patrick Mahomes.

Patrick Mahomes

The quarterback position is the most impactful on the football field and the Kansas City Chiefs have one of the best in the game right now in Patrick Mahomes. He has already won a league MVP and led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl win last year (and won the Super Bowl MVP).

Mahomes finished the season with 4,740 passing yards, 38 passing touchdowns and only six interceptions while completing 66.3% of his passes. He ranked in the Top 5 in the league in passing yards and touchdowns during the regular season.

While Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks when he is on the field, there is some question about whether or not he will actually be on the field. The Chiefs quarterback suffered a concussion this past week against the Cleveland Browns and is in concussion protocol.

There doesn’t seem to be much concern he could miss this weekend’s game but also was listed on the injury report with a toe injury on Wednesday. The Bills can’t take him lightly but he doesn’t appear to be heading into this game fully healthy and it will be interesting to see how that may impact his performance.
