Limit Big Plays

This is easier said than done when the Chiefs have players like Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman, Travis Kelce and Clyde Edwards-Helaire with Patrick Mahomes under center. This is probably why Frazier noted that they were willing to give up so much on the ground to hope in stopping the plays over the top.

However, even with their defensive gameplan, they still gave up big plays over the top. In fact in Week 6, the Chiefs had six plays that were for 20 or more yards. This included a 37-yard reception by Byron Pringle and a 31-yard run by Edwards-Helaire.

The good news for the Buffalo Bills is this defense has been playing better as of late, especially this past week against the Baltimore Ravens. They were facing the number one rushing offense, and frustrated the reigning MVP, Lamar Jackson.

However, this defense does not have the luxury of letting up and while they need to ensure they know where Hill and Kelce is at all times, they need to account for players like Pringle and Hardman as they can make plays that change the game in an instant.
