This weekend’s matchup will be between the two best teams in the AFC, the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. When they met the first time this season, back in Week 6, the Buffalo Bills certainly couldn’t make that claim.

At the time, their defense was struggling to keep the opposing team off the scoreboard and Josh Allen had just come off his worst game of the season. The Chiefs would go on to win 26-17 but the Bills learned a lot from that game.

They would go on to win 11 of their next 12 with the lone loss being against the Arizona Cardinals that needed a hail mary to secure the win. When looking back at the Week 6 matchup, these are five things they need to improve but may not need to change much as some of these changes have already happened over the past 12 games.

Passing Yards

If the Buffalo Bills hope to come away with a win in Kansas City, they will need a better performance from Josh Allen then in Week 6. In fact, that game against the Chiefs was his worst of the season as he threw for a season low 122 passing yards and had a season low 51.85% completion percentage.

One of the things the Chiefs did well in this game was put pressure on Josh Allen and he struggled to stay comfortable in the pocket. While they didn’t get any sacks, Allen was hurried six times and hit five times and was pressured on 35% of his dropbacks, which was a season high.

At this point in the season, the coaching staff shouldn’t expect to get much from their run game which puts the pressure on the Buffalo Bills quarterback to move this offense against the Chiefs.
