Bills linebacker Matt Milano breaks up this pass intended for Ravens Mark Andrews.Jg 011620 Bills 35 /

Matt Milano

The biggest name though for the Buffalo Bills has to be linebacker Matt Milano. The starting linebacker suffered a pec injury that forced him to miss this game and the absence of Milano was noticeable.

The biggest reason is that Milano is one of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL and the Chiefs have one of the best tight ends in Travis Kelce. In Week 6 against the Bills, the connection of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce picked this defense apart and Kelce finished with five receptions for 65 yards and two touchdowns. It was the only game all season he had multiple touchdowns in a single game.

Similar to a number of Bills, Milano is playing some of his best football right now. This past week against the Ravens, Mark Andrews, another very good tight end, had only four receptions for 28 yards on 11 targets.

One of the reasons he struggled was Matt Milano, who had one of his two pass breakups in coverage on Andrews. The coaching staff is going to look to their starting linebacker to slow down Travis Kelce in what should be one of the key matchups in this game.
