Tight Ends

It was a relatively quiet game from the Buffalo Bills’ tight ends however Dawson Knox did have a key play to open the second half. The Bills faced a third and short early in the drive and Allen had a run-pass option and elected to pull it back from the running back and lob a pass over a blitzing Ravens’ defender to Knox, who would end up picking up 14 yards and kept the drive alive.

The Buffalo Bills tight ends haven’t been involved much in the offensive gameplan this year but need to make plays when they are targeted. That is exactly what Dawson Knox was able to do.

Grade: C+

Offensive Line

Last year when these two teams faced the Ravens sacked Josh Allen six times and hit him 12 times. This year, the Ravens sacked Josh Allen only twice and hit him three times. While some of this can be attributed to Allen’s development, the offensive line deserves some credit for giving Allen time in the pocket.

Since Jon Feliciano returned from his injury and he stepped in at right guard with Ike Boettger at left guard, this group has played very well. Josh Allen is not able to have the season he has without excellent protection up front.
