The Buffalo Bills are set to face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round on Saturday night. The Bills entered this game with only one player having an injury designation which was Darryl Johnson, who was listed as questionable. He didn’t practice at all this week so it isn’t a surprise to see Johnson inactive for this game.

The absence of Darryl Johnson gives Trent Murphy an opportunity to return to the active roster. The veteran pass rusher has been a healthy scratch for most of the second half of the season and now is asked to play a bigger role in a pivotal game.

The fact the Bills had almost every player available created some questions about who might be inactive for this game. One player who has typically been inactive but is in fact suiting up today is T.J. Yeldon. The veteran running back is expected to replace Zack Moss in the Bills’ offense as Moss suffered an ankle injury that knocked him out for the remainder of the playoffs.

Yeldon has primarily been a healthy scratch for most of the season. The last time he was active was in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. In that game, he had 52 rushing yards, 33 receiving yards, and a receiving touchdown.

The players joining Darryl Johnson on the inactive list are quarterback Jake Fromm, cornerback Dane Jackson, running back Antonio Williams, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, and tight end Tyler Kroft.

While Yeldon is active, there were some questions about rookie Antonio Williams. He was called up from the practice squad this week and had a good performance in the second half against the Miami Dolphins in the regular season finale. However, the coaching staff is confident with the duo of Devin Singletary and Yeldon.
