Gabriel Davis

Another wide receiver that stood out this past week against the Colts was rookie Gabriel Davis. The fourth-round pick went back to a limited role with the return of John Brown but Davis made arguably the two biggest catches of the game.

Those two catches came only one play apart on the Buffalo Bills’ final drive of the first half. To this point in the game, the offense really struggled to gain any momentum. However, after the defense made a big stop on fourth down but the offense had to start the drive from the four-yard line.

On 2nd and 10 from the four, Josh Allen would roll out of the pocket and find Gabriel Davis down the sideline as he kept the toes inbounds for a 37-yard reception. After a seven-yard catch by Cole Beasley, Allen would find Gabriel Davis again as the rookie would make another impressive catch dragging the toes, this time for 19-yards.

Even with his snaps cut in half from what he was used to playing the last six weeks of the regular season, Gabriel Davis was able to make big plays and showed he still needs to be apart of this offense.
