Wide Receiver

While Stefon Diggs once again led the team in receiving yards with 128 on six receptions and one receiving touchdown, it was two other receivers that really stood out this week.

The first is rookie Gabriel Davis who made two big plays that helped swing momentum in the Buffalo Bills’ favor. On the team’s final drive of the first half, Davis made two incredible sideline grabs that accounted for 37 yards and 19 yards respectively. He would finish the game with three receptions for 85 yards.

The expectation was that the return of John Brown would really cut into Davis’ playing time but when his number was called he responded.

The other player was Cole Beasley, who surprisingly was able to be active this week. While it wasn’t his biggest game in terms of yards (57) he did lead the team in receptions with seven. It was remarkable to see the slot receiver have the impact he did because he clearly wasn’t 100%.
