These are the grades for each position group for the Buffalo Bills from their win over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Buffalo Bills entered the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in the NFL with six straight wins, all of which were won by 10 or more points. This week wasn’t as easy as the Indianapolis Colts kept the pressure on the Bills and had a chance to win the game on a last-second hail mary.
Fortunately, the Colts didn’t convert that play and the Buffalo Bills were able to come away with a 27-24 win in the first game of Wild Card weekend. These are the grades for each position group for the Buffalo Bills in their win over the Colts.
Quarterback
In a game where the Buffalo Bills only got 42 yards from their running backs, the pressure was on Josh Allen to carry this offense. He certainly did that and more as he completed 26 of 35 for 324 passing yards, two passing touchdowns as well as 54 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown.
Outside of a fumble in the fourth quarter, when he was trying to stay up instead of being sacks, this was a nearly perfect game from the Buffalo Bills quarterback. He gave what the Colts defense was giving him but was willing to take shots downfield when the opportunity presented itself.
