These are the inactives for the Buffalo Bills this week against the Indianapolis Colts.
The good news for the Buffalo Bills is they will have all their starters back for the first playoff game this year. The team entered this game with Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley both questionable but both are active this week.
While there wasn’t much concern about Diggs availability as he said earlier this week he was fine, it is worth watching how much Cole Beasley plays. The team’s starting slot receiver missed last week’s game due to a knee injury and the only practice time he got this week was on Thursday in a limited capacity.
If he is able to play near his normal workload, this will be a big boost for this offense and Josh Allen.
The inactives for this game are: quarterback Jake Fromm, running back T.J. Yeldon, linebacker Tyrel Dodson, offensive lineman Jordan Devey, tight end Tyler Kroft, wide receiver Duke Williams and defensive end Trent Murphy.
Among the inactives, it is interesting to see Duke Williams as part of this group. The team did call him up from the practice squad yesterday. However, it appears he was just a backup plan if Cole Beasley was not able to go today.
The other player who was called up along with Duke Williams, was offensive lineman Jordan Devey, who also is inactive today.
As for the other inactives this has typically been the group of players that has not suited up for the Buffalo Bills. This includes players like Trent Murphy and Tyler Kroft who have been healthy scratches almost every week since the bye week.
The Buffalo Bills game against the Indianapolis Colts will kickoff today at 1:05 PM on CBS.
