Josh Allen vs. Colts defense

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills’ offense have left zero doubt in 2020 that they can throw the ball on any defense. In Week 17, Allen capped an impressive five-game stretch totaling 1,500 yards and 15 touchdowns by obliterating the Miami Dolphins and potentially putting the AFC on notice.

Indianapolis’s defense ranks eighth in the league in Defense Adjusted Value over Average (DVOA), thanks in part due to their league-leading four interception return touchdowns and their lone Pro Bowl selection at middle linebacker, Darius Leonard; who has accounted for 132 tackles this season. However, even with a Top 10 defensive ranking, Indy’s defense has been susceptible to teams’ passing attacks.

The Colts’ defense ranks 20th in the league in passing yards per game. And they come in at 19th in the league in third-down percentage. Bills fans have seen the potency and knock-out punch of the 2020 Buffalo offense. And if Allen and the Buffalo Bills continue dictating to defenses offensively and moving the chains, they’ll make it a long day for Indy this Saturday.
