Special Teams

If there was one collective unit that really performed it was the Buffalo Bills’ special teams. The Bills weren’t able to do much early in the game and were down 3-0 after the first quarter.

However, Corey Bojorquez gave them some momentum when he punted 54 yards and it bounced out of bounds at the one. The Dolphins were forced to punt and the Buffalo Bills offense would go on to score their first touchdown of the game.

The Bills would add another touchdown to take a 14-3 lead but it was Isaiah McKenzie, who returned a punt that really opened the game up to make it 21-3, and the Dolphins were not able to make it a game from that point.

As for Tyler Bass, it was another perfect game as he made eight field goal attempts.

Buffalo Bills Week 17 Final Grade

In a game where many thought that the Buffalo Bills wanted to win but weren’t willing to risk injury to key players, this was expected to be much closer than this. The fact that the Dolphins needed a win to get into the playoffs, it wouldn’t have been a surprise to see them come away with a win.

However, the second quarter really changed the dynamic of this game as the Bills scored 28 points thanks to special teams and three passing touchdowns by Josh Allen. The Bills didn’t let up in the second half either as the backups continued to produce as the Buffalo Bills would go on to score a season high 56 points.
