These are the grades for each position group for the Buffalo Bills against the Miami Dolphins.

Entering Week 17, the Buffalo Bills knew that they only needed a win to secure the number two seed. However, the thought was that it may not be worth risking injury to some of their key starters since the Bills couldn’t fall further than three.

The Bills did elect to rest some of their starters like Tre’Davious White, Jerry Hughes, and Mario Addison but a majority of their starters played at least a half of football, including Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.

In the end, everything worked out great in the favor of the Buffalo Bills as they came away with a big win over the Miami Dolphins, 56-26, secured the two seed, and avoided any serious injury. These are the grades for each position group for the Buffalo Bills in Week 17.

Quarterback

It was a slow start for Josh Allen as he looked out of sync after throwing an interception on the opening drive. However, everything changed in the second quarter as Allen got into a rhythm and would go on to throw three touchdowns. He would go on to finish the game with 224 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.

In the second half, Matt Barkley took over in what was his most playing time since Week 17 of last season. There were some questionable throws but considering it had been a full year since his last playing time, he looked relatively good completing 6 of 13 for 164 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception.
