These are six players who should see extended playing time this week for the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills enter this weekend’s game with the Miami Dolphins already having the AFC East locked up and knowing they can’t drop further than the three seed in the AFC. However, a win over the Dolphins would move them up one spot and guarantee at least two home playoff games if they win their first game.

Head coach Sean McDermott must balance this entering this weekend’s game when considering how much playing time to give starters but also importantly getting some backups onto the field. If the Bills were to lose a starter during the playoffs, these are players that would step into the starting lineup.

Considering there were no preseason games, this might be the first time some of these players would see extended playing time all year. By getting them onto the field in a live game environment could help knock off some of the rust and have them prepared to step into the starting lineup if the need were to arise.

These are six players that the coaching staff should try to get onto the field for a majority, if not all, of the game against the Miami Dolphins.
