The Buffalo Bills ruled two players out for Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins.

One of the top focuses for the Buffalo Bills entering this game is to avoid serious injuries to any key players. This past week against the Patriots unfortunately the team saw their starting slot receiver Cole Beasley leave the game due to a knee injury.

That injury forced Beasley to miss practice all week and he was ruled out for this Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. The hope is that he can return for the playoffs but Sean McDermott described the injury as “week-to-week” which usually means more than one game missed.

The absence of Beasley likely means that this should create more playing time for a player like Isaiah McKenzie, who has been more of a gadget player but now could be a regular part of their gameplan.

The other player who will miss this week is tight end Reggie Gilliam. This is the second week in a row that the undrafted free agent rookie has missed due to a knee/hamstring injury. He hasn’t played much on offense but is a key part of their special teams unit.

This week the Dolphins should see plenty of Tyler Kroft, who was active for the first time in a few weeks this past week in place of Gilliam.

The good news for the Bills is that they should be welcoming John Brown back to the starting lineup. The former starting wide receiver has been out since the bye week with a knee injury and was activated this past week against the Patriots.

However, he was considered a close contact to T.J. Yeldon, who tested positive and was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He was activated off that today and enters this week with no injury designation.

The other player on the injury report is Jon Feliciano, who missed Wednesday and Thursday’s practice due to illness but was a full participant on Friday. He also enters this week with no injury designation.
