Defensive Line

The Buffalo Bills defensive line had a bit of an up and down night as they made some excellent plays but also missed some opportunities. One area that has to be a concern is that the Patriots were finding success on the ground as Sony Michel broke a 29-yard run on the opening drive and then later in the game Michel had a 21-yard run followed by J.J. Taylor running for 28 yards on the next play.

Then later on that very drive, Mario Addison missed a sack and Cam Newton escaped and ran for a touchdown.

However, it wasn’t all bad as the Bills did a good job of getting penetration in the middle of the offensive line with Quinton Jefferson collecting a sack along with Ed Oliver and Justin Zimmer each having a tackle for a loss.
