These are the Buffalo Bills to start and sit in fantasy football against the New England Patriots.

The Buffalo Bills offense had another big week against the Denver Broncos, especially Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley. However, in a week where most fantasy football leagues are holding their championships, this is not a great matchup for most Buffalo Bills.

These are the players to start and sit in Week 16 for the Buffalo Bills.

Start

Devin Singletary/Zack Moss

The Buffalo Bills running backs haven’t been very productive but if either of these running backs are on your roster, this is the week to start them. The New England Patriots have struggled to stop running backs and in the past two weeks have given up over 170 rushing yards to Cam Akers and then this past week undrafted rookie Salvon Ahmed ran for 122 rushing yards.

This was the first time since the 2018 season the Dolphins have had a running back go for over 100 rushing yards in a game.

The Bills also had one of their best rushing games of the season the first time these two teams faced as both Devin Singletary and Zack Moss ran for over 80 rushing yards each. Both running backs should be considered RB2 heading into this week.

Sit

Josh Allen

For anyone who is in the fantasy football championship game in their league this week, it is likely due in large part to Josh Allen. He has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league and it may be hard to bench him, but this is not a good matchup.

The first time Josh Allen faced the Patriots, he only threw for 154 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. The Patriots’ pass defense has been one of the best in the league and over the past four weeks, they are allowing the third fewest points in the league. That includes a stretch where they have faced Kyler Murray, Justin Herbert and Jared Goff.

If your team has Justin Herbert, Tom Brady, Ryan Tannehill or even Jalen Hurts, I would start them over Josh Allen.

Stefon Diggs

In addition to Allen, this is not a good week to start Stefon Diggs. The combination of Allen potentially struggling combined with the star wide receiver dealing with an injury is not a recipe for success.

The Buffalo Bills are also playing on Monday night this week so if the Bills decide to hold Diggs out, or limit his snaps, this wouldn’t give people time to pivot to another wide receiver.

Next. 3 Buffalo Bills that should have the Pro Bowl. dark

I would be watching the injury reports this week and if Diggs has even a questionable designation on Saturday, I would probably play another player.
