This is the Buffalo Bills injury report after Thursday’s practice ahead of Week 16.

The Buffalo Bills have an extended break between games after playing on Saturday and their next game is on Monday night against the New England Patriots. However, this week’s injury report is starting off a little longer than in recent weeks.

The biggest question mark entering this week was the status of wide receiver Stefon Diggs. He left the game early against the Denver Broncos with a foot injury and wasn’t able to return. However, the injury doesn’t appear to be too serious as he was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.

Barring any kind of setback he should be on the field against the Patriots.

In addition to Diggs, Tre’Davious White and Josh Allen were full participants which is a good sign for their availability although Allen’s status was never really in jeopardy.

The biggest concern this week and worth watching on the injury report in the coming days is at right tackle. The team had Daryl Williams leave last week’s game early with a groin injury but was limited on Thursday.

The reason the position is a concern is that his backup, Ty Nsekhe, did not practice on Thursday also due to a groin injury. Nsekhe is the primary backup at both tackle positions and when Daryl Williams has missed any time, it has been Nsekhe who has stepped into the starting lineup.

If both players are out, the team would likely look to Ryan Bates to step in at right tackle.

One player who isn’t on the injury report but looks like he will be returning on Monday night is John Brown. The veteran receiver has been on injured reserve but was designated to return last week. He didn’t return against the Broncos but with the news of the Bills releasing Jake Kumerow on Thursday, this is likely a signal that Brown is set to be added to the active roster.
