The margin of victory in the playoffs is small and something as small as a missed extra point or field goal could be the deciding factor in the outcome of the game. This is why Tyler Bass is one of the most important players for the Buffalo Bills if they make a deep playoff run.

Tyler Bass was a sixth round pick by the Buffalo Bills and won the starting job before the season by beating out veteran Stephen Hauschka. The start of the season was a little rocky as Bass missed two field goal attempts in his first NFL game.

Then in Week 7 against the New York Jets, it seemed like Bass turned a corner. He would go on to tie the franchise record for six field goals made and set the franchise record with eight field goal attempts.

dark. Next. Which Buffalo Bills should have made the Pro Bowl?

Since that game, Bass has gone on to make 15 of 16 field goal attempts as well as 26 of 27 extra point attempts. When he was drafted the leg strength was never in question but now that he has shown the accuracy, the Bills have shortened the field for what they need to do to get into scoring range.
