If Josh Allen is going to have a good run in the playoffs, he is going to need his number one wide receiver, Stefon Diggs. The addition of Diggs this offseason has transformed this offense but also has likely played a role in Allen’s development as a quarterback.

Diggs has been the team’s number one wide receiver and has a league-leading 111 receptions with 1,314 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

However, his impact goes beyond his stat line because he creates more room for the other receivers in this offense. When Stefon Diggs is on the field, he commands a lot of attention which creates some one-on-one matchups for some other receivers.

It shouldn’t be considered a coincidence that this year Cole Beasley is having a breakout year as well and set to surpass 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his career.

Aside from Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs may be the most important player on the Buffalo Bills offense.
