The Buffalo Bills win the AFC East for the first time since 1995 with a 48-19 victory over the Denver Broncos.

The Buffalo Bills entered Week 15 knowing that all they had to do was win against the Denver Broncos to secure the AFC East. They were able to do that in dominating fashion as they ran away from the Broncos in the second half and finishing with a 48-19 win.

The Bills once again were led by Josh Allen who put together another stellar performance as he completed 70% of his passes, throwing for 359 yards, two passing touchdowns while adding 33 rushing yards and two more rushing touchdowns. After not throwing for over 300 yards in any game in his first two years in the NFL, this week marked the seventh game this season where he has surpassed that total.

Once again, it was Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley who was his go-to receivers as they both surpassed 100 receiving yards. Diggs entered this week needing one reception to officially break the franchise record in receptions, which he did on the first offensive play, and finished with 11 receptions for 147 receiving yards. Beasley added eight receptions for 112 receiving yards.

However, it was Dawson Knox and Jake Kumerow who caught the touchdown passes for the Buffalo Bills.

On the other side of the ball, it was another dominating performance by the Bills’ defense who are playing very well the second half of the season. The play of the game came in the second half when Jerry Hughes picked up a Drew Lock fumble and weaved his way into the end zone. After not having a defensive score in nearly two years, the Bills now have defensive touchdowns in back to back weeks.

The Buffalo Bills will get a bit of an extended break as their next game will be on Monday Night as they face the New England Patriots on the road.
