The Buffalo Bills have only one player ruled out for Week 15.

The Buffalo Bills once again enter this week pretty healthy as the only player ruled out is Jaquan Johnson. The backup safety has been a key part of the special teams, playing 58% of special teams snaps this season.

The only other player on the injury report is tight end Lee Smith, who has been limited for all three practices with a knee injury. He is listed as questionable this week and if he is unable to go, the Bills will likely activate Tyler Kroft although he doesn’t fill the same role as a blocking tight end.

The good news for the Buffalo Bills is they had two key pieces of their defense practice in full on Thursday after being limited the first two practices this week. The first is linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who is dealing with a foot injury. He did not receive an injury designation and should not have any limitations this week.

The other player is starting nickel Taron Johnson. He left the game against the Steelers with a concussion and was limited the first two days. He looks to have cleared concussion protocol after practicing in full and also not receiving an injury designation.

One player who wasn’t on the injury report, but fans were watching for his status closely, was wide receiver, John Brown. The team designated him to return this week from injured reserve as he works back from an ankle injury.

Since he wasn’t activated, the team didn’t need to add him to the injury report but head coach Sean McDermott confirmed Thursday morning that the starting receiver would not return this week. This will give Gabriel Davis another week as the starting wide receiver opposite Stefon Diggs.
