Noah Fant
The Denver Broncos have a number of passing options to be concerned about, especially rookies Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler. While these are two good receivers, it is tight end Noah Fant that should concern the Bills’ coaching staff the most.
The Buffalo Bills at times this year have struggled to contain athletic tight ends and has seen players like Jonnu Smith, Travis Kelce and Mike Gesicki have good games against them. Fant is a tight end in a similar mold that he can make big plays, as evidence by his 11.2 yards per reception average this season.
Fortunately for the Buffalo Bills, they will have Matt Milano back this week and will look to him to slow down Fant. The Bills linebacker is excellent in coverage and has done a good job containing these types of tight ends and there is likely a correlation between those tight ends previously mentioned having big games and Milano not being on the field.
If Milano is able to slow down Noah Fant, it should limit what Drew Lock is able to do in the passing game.
