Josh Allen

The Bills quarterback has shown tremendous improvement all year, is setting career highs, and even broke the franchise record for total touchdowns in a season against the Steelers.

While this past week wasn’t the biggest stat line of the season, Josh Allen had only 238 passing yards and two touchdowns, he showed something that goes beyond the box score.

At the start of the game, it was clear that Josh Allen didn’t have the accuracy or the touch he showed the week prior. The Bills’ offense struggled to find any kind of rhythm as the Steelers’ defense imposed their will.

These types of starts would usually be something that Allen hadn’t been able to get past during the course of the game. However, that wasn’t the case as he came out in the second half and played at that MVP-type level with 11 straight completions and leading the Bills on two touchdowns drives.

By showing that Josh Allen can start a game without his best stuff but put it behind him and play at a high level, was great to see and this will be big, especially if the Buffalo Bills hope for a deep playoff run.
