These are three players on the Buffalo Bills that had excellent games in Week 14.

The Buffalo Bills showed on Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers that they absolutely belong among the top teams in the AFC. The way they were able to respond with the second half they had after a lackluster first half by the offense, was impressive and something that has been missing for this team the past few seasons.

The Bills have typically been a team that builds a big first half lead to watch it slip in the second half before fourth quarter heroics from their quarterback. The reason the Bills were able to come away with a 26-15 win over the Steelers was because of some big performances from these three players.

Daryl Williams

One of the biggest stars of the game is someone that won’t even show up in the box score. The Buffalo Bills entered this game knowing they would be facing one of the best pass rushers in the NFL in T.J. Watt. He entered this game only half of a sack off the league lead with 12.

When facing this type of pass rusher, it usually means coaching staffs are going to line up a tight end on that side or keep a running back in the backfield to help their offensive tackle. However, that really wasn’t the case this week and Daryl Williams did an excellent job limiting what Watt was able to do almost exclusively by himself.

Williams was a free agent signing this offseason after an up and down year with the Carolina Panthers. However, he has seen his stock increase substantially this season with the Buffalo Bills after starting every game this year at right tackle.

The Buffalo Bills would likely love to have him back but expect him to be a free agent target by many teams and this will be a game they look back on when evaluating him.
