These were some of the top plays for the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

The Buffalo Bills were once again on primetime and once again put on a show for the national audience. It was a slow start but towards the end of the first half, the Bills started to make plays that helped them come away with a 26-15 win over the Steelers.

These are some of the top plays from Week 14 for the Buffalo Bills.

Taron Johnson has the play of the game

The first play on this list was the biggest as nickel corner Taron Johnson jumped the route and was able to pick off Ben Roethlisberger. An interception, at that point in the game with the Bills down 7-3 would have been big, but Johnson wasn’t done there as he returned it all the way for a touchdown.

It has been a while since the Buffalo Bills defense has found the end zone as that was the first defensive touchdown since 2017, a season when they had three. This play put the Bills up 9-7 going into halftime and they didn’t relinquish the lead.

Stefon Diggs’ route running on full display

In his first season with the Buffalo Bills, Stefon Diggs is having the best season in franchise history for a wide receiver. He has already tied the record for receptions in a season at 100 and has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards.

On Sunday night, Diggs had 130 receptions and one touchdown, which is the play below.

One of the reasons that Diggs is having such a great season is his impressive route running that is able to create such space that it is a simple throw for Josh Allen to find his top receiver.

Josh Allen finds Gabriel Davis in the back corner of the end zone

It was a slow start for the Buffalo Bills quarterback but when I saw this play, I knew that Josh Allen was playing with confidence and was once again in control of the game. This throw reminded me of a throw he made the week prior when he dropped it in over 49ers linebacker Fred Warner to the waiting arms of his receiver.

This week, Allen threw a little pump fake with his shoulders that held the Steelers defender just enough to create space for Gabriel Davis in the back corner of the end zone. This was a throw that was shown with perfect accuracy and speed that is not as easy as Allen made it look.

Levi Wallace helps seal the victory for the Bills

The Buffalo Bills were able to pick off the Steelers’ quarterback twice and the second one helped secure the victory for the Bills. The play did not start out well for Levi Wallace as he got beaten off the line and the Steelers’ wide receiver had a few steps on him.

However, Wallace got lucky as Roethlisberger underthrew the pass and the Bills cornerback was able to re-adjust and came away with a diving interception.
