These were the top takeaways for the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

For the second time in as many games, the Buffalo Bills stay undefeated in primetime, knocking off the then 11-1 Pittsburgh Steelers by a final score of 26-15.

Under the bright lights of Bills’ Stadium, the team came out to a shot-for-shot first half. Both teams failed to establish any offensive momentum and both defensive units were playing up to their reputation. Leading at the half, Buffalo tapped into their brain trust in Sean McDermott and Brian Daboll which resulted in an entirely different second half.

Scoring 17 points to Pittsburgh’s eight, Buffalo showed out in primetime in front of the entire nation. The combination of Josh Allen playing to a level we come to expect of him now and the Bills defense playing to a level, again we expect of them, handed Pittsburgh their second loss in a row and of the season.

If there was ever a narrative surrounding the Buffalo Bills that they are not a team that can play on the national stage, wins against the 49ers and the Steelers have proved the opposite. Back-to-back wins against the San Fransico 49ers, granted the 49ers’ record does not reflect that they are a good football team, and now the Pittsburgh Steelers, emphasizes that Buffalo can play with anyone in the NFL. Yes, even the Kansas City Chiefs.
