These are the teams that Buffalo Bills fans should root for in Week 14.

With only four games left in the regular season, the playoff race is tightening up but it also means there is playoff spot clinching scenarios now for the Buffalo Bills. After their 34-24 win, the Bills are actually in a position to secure a playoff spot this weekend.

The Buffalo Bills will need to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers this week and if they do that, these are the other teams fans should be rooting for.

New England Patriots at Los Angeles Rams

Thursday Night, 8:20 PM

It starts on Thursday night as the New England Patriots travel to face the Los Angeles Rams. The Buffalo Bills fans should be rooting for the Rams because if the Patriots were to win here, any chance to secure a playoff spot in Week 14 disappears.

The good news is that the Patriots don’t necessarily need to lose as a tie in this game would also be able to help secure a playoff spot.

This is a pivotal game for the Buffalo Bills also because the Patriots are still very much in the race for the AFC East at 6-6. They have gotten two big wins in the past two weeks with a last-second win over the Arizona Cardinals and then a 45-0 shutout of the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Patriots would still need a lot of help but they can’t be counted out quite yet.

Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins

Sunday, 1:00 PM

Similar to the Thursday Night game, the Buffalo Bills should be rooting for their division rival to lose. This not only would help the Buffalo Bills gain some separation within the division but would be needed to secure a playoff spot.

However, for any fans that are thinking that the number one seed in the AFC is in reach, which it is, a loss for the Kansas City Chiefs wouldn’t be a bad thing. While it does move the Dolphins closer, if the Buffalo Bills continue to win, it won’t matter.

Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders

Sunday, 4:05 PM

If the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins, it is time to turn on the Colts and Raiders game, hoping that the Colts are able to win on the road over the Raiders.

Even aside from the playoff clinching scenarios, the Buffalo Bills should be rooting for the Colts to win because if they are able to hold onto the AFC South over the Titans, it should help the Bills. The reason is that the Titans hold the head-to-head tiebreaker so if both teams win their divisions with the same record, the Titans get the higher seed.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

Monday, 8:15 PM

The final game to watch if the Buffalo Bills hope to secure a playoff spot in Week 14 comes on Monday Night with the Ravens traveling to Cleveland to play the Browns and fans should be rooting for the home team in this one.

At this point, the Buffalo Bills would have had to beat the Steelers and all the other games would have had to go their way.

However, if that does happen this will be a game all Bills’ fans will want to tune in for. While the Browns are 9-3, this is very much a must-win for the Ravens as they are 7-5 but still on the outside looking in at the playoffs.
