Buffalo Bills: Jon Feliciano limited in practice ahead of Week 14
This is a recap of the Buffalo Bills injury report from Thursday ahead of Week 14.
The Buffalo Bills were back on the practice field Thursday ahead of their primetime showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.
The big news coming out of practice was that starting guard Jon Feliciano was limited on Thursday after being a full participant on Wednesday. It is important to note that Wednesday’s practice was only a walk-through due to the Buffalo Bills playing on Monday night.
If Feliciano is not able to play this week, the Buffalo Bills would turn to Brian Winters. He had been the team’s starting guard but was benched as the Bills moved Feliciano to right guard and put Ike Boettger in as the starting left guard.
In addition to Feliciano, the Bills had three other players who were limited with quarterback Jake Fromm, defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson and kick returner Andre Roberts also limited. The good news is that this is an upgrade for Jefferson as he did not practice at all on Wednesday. As for Roberts, this was his second straight day as a limited participant.
One player who looks like he will be missing this weekend’s game is safety Jaquan Johnson. While he has seen limited playing time on defense he has been a key part of the special teams unit this year.
The only other player on the list is quarterback Josh Allen who is listed with a knee and ankle injury. However, he was a full participant today as he was yesterday and there is no reason to think he could miss this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Buffalo Bills will have one more practice tomorrow before releasing their official injury report for Week 14. It will provide more clarity about whether or not Feliciano, Roberts, and Jefferson will play.
