These are the inactives for the Buffalo Bills in Week 13.

The Buffalo Bills entered this game with no players out, or even with a questionable tag. The fact that they had a completely healthy roster provided a little more intrigue about who is inactive for tonight’s game.

It wasn’t a surprise to see quarterback Jake Fromm inactive as he has not been active for a game yet this year. In addition to Fromm, the Bills have running back T.J. Yeldon, tight end Tyler Kroft and defensive end Trent Murphy inactive this week.

This is the second straight week that Kroft and Murphy are healthy scratches. The team instead elected to go with Lee Smith at tight end, likely due to his run blocking and hoping he can be an extra boost to the run game.

As for Murphy being inactive, this is likely due to the team trying to create additional snaps for A.J. Epenesa. The second-round pick has been playing better as of late and should be a key part of the rotation.

One player who is active is linebacker Matt Milano, who was activated off injured reserve before tonight’s game. It will be worth watching how the team balances the playing time between Milano and A.J. Klein.

The reason is that Klein has been playing very well and it is hard to imagine pulling him off the field right now. However, Milano is an excellent linebacker that makes this defense much better, especially with his ability to cover tight ends and running backs out of the backfield.

This means the coaching staff will rotate the two linebackers or may operate more out of a traditional 4-3 defensive front, which would be a big departure from what Sean McDermott has typically run.
