These are the teams to root for in Week 13 to help the Buffalo Bills in their playoff chase.

Even though the Buffalo Bills won in Week 12, they lost some ground when it comes to seeding with the AFC. While the team still controls their own destiny to win the division, they could use some from other teams this week.

This is a breakdown of which teams to root for this weekend that could help them before they take the field Monday night.

AFC East Division Race

The main focus within the division is on the Miami Dolphins as they are still only one game back when looking at the record. They are 7-4 while the Bills are 8-3 but the Bills do essentially hold a two game lead since they currently own the head-to-head tiebreak.

However, that isn’t set in stone as the two teams do play each other in the final week of the season. This is why a win by the Cincinnati Bengals over the Miami Dolphins would be a nice boost and give the Buffalo Bills a little breathing room.

While it is a long-shot, the New England Patriots shouldn’t be counted out yet but their window is closing. They currently are 5-6 but also do play the Bills one more time this season. The Patriots travel this week across the country to face the Los Angeles Chargers, who the Bills just beat this past week.

AFC Playoff Seeding

When looking at the seeding in the AFC, the movement the Buffalo Bills have, both up and down, are pretty limited to third or fourth if they hold onto the AFC East. The Steelers are still undefeated and the Chiefs are 10-1 and do have a win over the Bills. This is why it is likely the best the Bills can do is third, which currently is owned by the Tennessee Titans.

Both teams have the same record but the Titans do have the win over the Bills and why they have that spot. The Titans this week face another team currently in playoff contention, the Cleveland Browns, and this should be a tough game for both teams.
