After an ugly win against the Chargers last week, the Buffalo Bills will travel to Arizona in an unlikely fashion to play the San Fransisco 49ers.

Coming off of their bye, the Buffalo Bills certainly showed that they can improve on some of their deficiencies when given some extra time to practice. Going into their bye week, the Bills were judged on how poor their defense and running game has produced compared to just last season when both of which were top tier segments of the team’s identity. However, the 2020 Buffalo Bills have a new identity, but with that being said, the Buffalo defense is starting to come back around and show its strength.

In addition to the improvements on defense, it was obvious the Bills put some extra effort into reviving the running game. The Bills offense put up 172 rushing yards last week, which is the second-highest output of the season so far. As the Bills get closer to the offseason, these segments of their team need to be able to hold their weight.

This most recent matchup goes to show that the Bills can win in more ways than just one after a win that was reminiscent of the 2019 Buffalo Bills winning formula, defense, and a ball-control running offense.
