Jerry Hughes Cap Savings: $7,350,000

The Buffalo Bills will likely see the departure of Trent Murphy at the end of the year and the front office could look to make additional moves at the position to get younger. The team signed Mario Addison last offseason but he will be 34 next season while Jerry Hughes will be 33 years old.

While both players have played well, Hughes has 4.5 sacks and Addison has 4.0 sacks, these are two players that likely are at the tail end of their careers. The question is how much longer they can produce at this level.

The Buffalo Bills will likely keep one of these two players. The front office will need to decide if the longevity Hughes has had with the franchise is worth the difference in savings between the two players.
