Cap Savings: $3,350,000

While this may not be a big name, or one fans hear often during gameday, linebacker Tyler Matakevich is a key part of the Buffalo Bills special teams. He was signed prior to the season for his play in this part of the game and has done an excellent job for the Bills this year.

So far this season, Matakevich has played 77% of the team’s special teams snaps and has eight total tackles.

However, one of the things the coaching staff looks for is versatility and the Buffalo Bills may want a linebacker they trust to play on the defensive side of the ball as well as contribute on special teams. This, combined with the fact the Bills could free up over $3.3 million with one move, would make sense for the Buffalo Bills to go in another direction.
