Buffalo Bills have only two players not practice on Wednesday after bye
The Buffalo Bills appear to be coming out of the bye week relatively healthy ahead of Week 12.
Prior to their bye week, the Buffalo Bills typically were dealing with a lengthy injury report. However, coming out of the bye that report has significantly decreased and the team had only two players miss practice on Wednesday.
The first is Mario Addison, who was given a rest day on Wednesday, which is typically and is not concerning. However, wide receiver John Brown did not practice due to knee and ankle injuries. The team’s starting wide receiver has been battling injuries for almost the entire season and had his knee wrapped against the Arizona Cardinals.
He would then suffer an ankle injury during the course of the game and have to leave the game. It appears the injury is still an issue and it will be interesting to see if he is able to practice at all over the next few days.
The Bills also had two players who were limited, along with Jake Fromm, which was Jerry Hughes and Cody Ford. The limited designation is worth watching for Ford as he has missed games recently due to that ankle injury.
The good news for the Bills though is they had four players practice in full today with Taiwan Jones and Dawson Knox returning from hamstring injuries, Josh Norman who tested positive for COVID-19 the day before the game against the Arizona Cardinals, and rookie A.J. Epenesa who suffered a concussion against the Cardinals.
All four players appear to be on track to return this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
One name that is not on this list is quarterback Josh Allen. While he has not been limited in terms of practice or missed any time, he was on the report due to a shoulder injury. He suffered the injury in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders but is now no longer on the report.
This could mean that he is fully recovered from that injury and has put it behind him.
