Ty Nsekhe

The Buffalo Bills signed Ty Nsekhe prior to the 2019 season and at the time, and based on the contract, the team likely viewed the veteran as their starting right tackle. While Nsekhe was never a starter full-time when he did get the extended playing time he played well.

The thought process certainly made sense but the Buffalo Bills would end up drafting Cody Ford a few months later. The two players rotated at times last year, but Nsekhe suffered a few injuries and Cody Ford eventually took over full-time.

This season, Nsekhe still hasn’t seen much playing time with how well Daryl Williams has played. Ty Nsekhe at this point still provides value as a depth piece due to his ability to line up at either left or right tackle however at 35 years of age, the question is how many more years he can. Meanwhile, the Bills have some good young options, like Ryan Bates, that allows them to go in another direction this offseason.
