These are the five best options for the Buffalo Bills to fill the final roster spot.

The Buffalo Bills currently have 51 players on their active roster, which leaves two open roster spots. The team will likely keep one open until Josh Norman is able to return from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The question then becomes what do they do with the other roster spot. Fortunately, they have plenty of options that they could make this week ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

Dane Jackson

The seventh round pick has been called up from the practice squad a couple of times this year and when Dane Jackson has had the chance to play, he has played well. In the two starts he has had, he has 12 total tackles, three passes defended, one interception, and one fumble recovery.

The coaching staff likely had some decisions to make at the position during their bye week. For most of the season, the team has looked to veteran corners Levi Wallace and Josh Norman. However, neither has played very well when on the field.

Meanwhile, Jackson has looked good in the playing time he has gotten and even though he is a rookie, there is a case to be made that he has played the best this year outside of Tre’Davious White.
