These were the top takeaways for the Buffalo Bills from the first 10 games of the season.

Approaching the unofficial second half of the Buffalo Bills 2020 season, there is a lot of positive and negative storylines that have followed the team thus far. Sitting at 7-3 and enjoying a well-deserved bye week, the Buffalo Bills will look to keep rolling when they face the Los Angeles Chargers in the first game back from the bye.

While being 4-0 in the AFC East after two wins against the Jets, and one win over the Patriots and Dolphins is all and well, the Brian Flores-led Dolphins are hot on their tail. With three very winnable games coming up for the Dolphins in the coming weeks, the Bills may be getting uncomfortable. After opting to go with a rookie quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, the ‘fins have put together a respectable winning streak. While that streak did come to an end against the Broncos they are 6-4 and still very much in the playoff discussion the AFC.

Entering the season, it was expected that Buffalo would take the division for the first time in what seems like an eternity. With the division’s throne now vacant as the New England Patriots take a year off to reload, the stage was set for Buffalo to hang the banner. While they certainly have had one of the better seasons in recent memory, expectations are still higher than they ever have been.

As the team comes out of the bye, these are just a few of the biggest takeaways so far through the 2020 Buffalo Bills season.
