Defensive Line

The defensive line faced a really tough challenge this week against Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray. While the team did a good job against Russell Wilson the previous week, Murray is even more dynamic because he has a different level of quickness and speed.

The Bills did finish with three sacks but only one defensive lineman had a sack, which was Justin Zimmer. However, one positive is that the Bills did hold Murray to the third lowest rushing output of the season with 11 rushing attempts, 61 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns.

It is hard to imagine this is a win but the Cardinals’ quarterback was averaging 83 yards. He also had one run of 28 yards, which accounted for a third of his rushing yards.

While Kyler Murray did make plays, the defensive line for the most part did a good job of keeping him in a pocket and not letting his running ability completely take over a game.
