This is a recap of how the rookies for the Buffalo Bills played in Week 9.
Now with over half a season in the NFL under their belts, the Buffalo Bills are starting to get more production from their rookie class. It was a bit of a slow start for some, which certainly could be attributed to no preseason and a condensed offseason program.
However, in the game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Bills once again had a number of rookies step up and this is a recap from their Week 9 performance.
A.J. Epenesa
It was once again a quiet week for the Buffalo Bills’ second round pick but the good news is that he was active for this game, which hasn’t always been a guarantee. A.J. Epenesa finished the game playing 11 defensive snaps and seven special teams. He also was credited for one kick return when the Seahawks pooched a kick in the second half in hopes of getting back into it.
While, the defensive end hasn’t seen his defensive snaps increase it is worth noting that the last three games he has played he has seen time on special teams, playing 16 snaps over that stretch. The reason this is important to note is that if he continues to provide some value on special teams, this should help his chance to be active on game day.
