The Buffalo Bills had only two players sit out of practice on Thursday.

The Buffalo Bills started the week with a rather lengthy injury report but on Thursday the injury report looked much more promising. The team had only two players miss practice on Thursday as Taiwan Jones sat out due to a hamstring injury and Mario Addison missed practice for a veteran rest day.

There was one new player on the injury report which was safety Micah Hyde. He was listed as limited on Thursday due to an ankle injury. Since he was a new addition, the injury likely occurred during practice, which is not a good sign.

If Micah Hyde is not able to play, the team will once again likely turn to Dean Marlowe to replace him in the starting lineup.

In terms of the players who missed practice on Wednesday, Taiwan Jones was the only player not able to return. Starting guards Brian Winters and Cody Ford, and starting cornerback Tre’Davious White all were able to return on a limited basis for Thursday’s practice.

It was particularly important to see Ford and White return as they suffered injuries on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks but were not able to return to the game. The fact that they were able to practice is a good sign their injuries may not force them to miss this weekend’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Bills also had Josh Norman on the practice field, although it was still on a limited basis. He has been dealing with hamstring injuries this season and with a bye week next week, the team may be cautious with the veteran and hold him out this week.

The Buffalo Bills will have one more practice on Friday and they will release an official injury report for Week 10 after that ahead of their game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
