Tre’Davious White

The Buffalo Bills corner has struggled over the first half of the season and has not played at the same level he did last year when he tied for the league lead in interceptions and earned his first career All-Pro selection.

There isn’t a clear reason why Tre’Davious White has not played as well this year. He did have a back injury earlier this year, which forced him to miss Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. While he did return in Week 6, this is an injury that could have potentially lingered.

The reason why White may be set up for a better second half is fans saw him turn a corner against the Seahawks. He helped limit Russell Wilson and D.K. Metcalf as well as came away with his first interception of the season.

The caliber of talent in the first half in terms of passing offense is vastly different. He went up against teams like the Rams, Chiefs, and Seahawks in the first part of the season. However, in the final seven games of the year, the Bills face only one top 10 offense in passing yards, which comes in Week 12 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Buffalo Bills secondary has a chance to return to playing at their 2019 level, and Tre’Davious White will be a key part.
