Keep receivers in front of them

The Seattle Seahawks receiver group has done a great job of getting behind defenses so far this season. The combination of D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett make it very difficult for opposing defenses to game plan to take away one of these two guys without letting the other one gash them on the other side of the field.

So far this season, Lockett and Metcalf combine for over 58% of Russell Wilson’s passing yards. By taking away Wilson’s go-to targets or at least containing them, it should make driving the field a bit more difficult for this Seahawks offense.

With both Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde ruled out for Week 9, the Buffalo Bills should expect the Seahawks offense to lean on the passing game for a majority of offensive production. A big game from Tre’Davious White would go a long way for the Bills in this game. Week 9 would be a great time for him to prove that he is worth every penny in his recent contract extension.

If the Bills defense can keep the Seahawks receivers in front of them, avoid letting up big plays, and rally to the football to make tackles, it could keep the Bills offense in position to win this game.
