The Buffalo Bills ruled five players out for Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Buffalo Bills started the week with a lengthy injury report and on Friday they ruled out four players for this weekend’s game with the Seattle Seahawks. The two names that jump out right away are starting center Mitch Morse and starting linebacker Matt Milano.

Morse, who suffered a concussion on the fourth play of the game against the New England Patriots, did not practice at all this week. This is not a big surprise and something the Buffalo Bills have likely been preparing for. In last week’s game, Jon Feliciano replaced Morse at center and it would make sense that he would be the starter this week against Seattle.

As for Milano, he has been dealing with a pec injury since suffering it in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He missed a few weeks but did return in Week 7 against the New York Jets and has played the past two weeks. However, he was very limited and played under 30% of the defensive snaps both games.

The question here is who replaces him with the likely candidate being A.J. Klein. However, Andre Smith did see some playing time this past week against the Patriots but the Bills also did sign Darron Lee this week. There may be a chance that he even sees some playing time.

In addition to Morse and Milano, the Bills also ruled out running backs T.J. Yeldon and Taiwan Jones and Josh Norman. The absence of Taiwan Jones could also be an issue for this team as he is a key special teams player.

While there is a number of players out, it appears there are a few players that could return this week starting with safety Micah Hyde. He missed last week’s game due to a concussion but has cleared protocol. The Bills could also get Cody Ford back, who is questionable but did practice in full on Friday.
