Buffalo Bills: Matt Milano, Mitch Morse miss second straight practice
The Buffalo Bills once again had a few starters miss practice on Thursday.
The Buffalo Bills had a long injury list after practice on Wednesday and the good news was that they had a number of players return to practice on Thursday. However, for the second straight day starting linebacker Matt Milano and starting center Mitch Morse missed practice.
Milano has been dealing with a pec injury since suffering it in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He did miss two games but returned in Week 7 against the New York Jets and also played last week against New England Patriots. However, he was very limited and played less than half in both of those games.
As for Morse, he suffered a concussion against the Patriots, and at this point, it seems unlikely he will clear the protocol and be available this week.
The good news is that the Buffalo Bills had a number of players return to practice. The biggest return was certainly safety Micah Hyde, who suffered a concussion against the New York Jets and missed last week. He was limited on Wednesday but was a full participant on Thursday.
He will still need to officially have to be cleared from the concussion protocol but this is a great sign.
This practice also marked the return of tight Dawson Knox, who had been on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He was able to return to practice but was still limited today with a calf injury.
The other players who missed practice on Thursday were running back T.J. Yeldon, cornerback Josh Norman, running back Taiwan Jones, defensive end Darryl Johnson, and defensive end Mario Addison. The only new addition was Addison, who had a rest day while the other players who missed also missed Wednesday’s practice.
The Buffalo Bills will have one practice tomorrow ahead of their Week 9 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
