Buffalo Bills: 3 deals they should make before the trade deadline
These are three deals the Buffalo Bills should make before the trade deadline.
The NFL trade deadline is at 4 PM ET today and the Buffalo Bills have plenty of potential needs they could address. While the Bills are sitting in a comfortable position atop the AFC East at 6-2, there have been areas of concern that have crept up over the course of the first half of the season.
A majority of the issues have been on the defensive side of the ball. The Bills defense ranks almost right in the middle of the league in points allowed and total yards allowed. The rushing defense though has to be the biggest concern as the team currently is allowing almost 134.5 yards per game, which is the seventh most in the NFL.
The issue could potentially be attributed to injuries at the linebacker position. The issues started in Week 1 when Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano both suffered an injury and missed Week 2. While Edmunds hasn’t missed any games since he has really struggled. Meanwhile, Milano returned but then suffered a pec injury that forced him to miss a few weeks. While he has played the past two weeks it has been very limited.
If the Buffalo Bills want to help this defense, specifically against the run, these are three trades that would make sense.
