After making six field goals last week against the New York Jets, rookie Tyler Bass followed it up with a perfect day by making his one field goal attempt and three extra point attempts. While this is somewhat expected from a placekicker, this was not an easy feat considering the winds swirling through Bills Stadium.

While the weather didn’t appear to impact Bass, it appeared to affect Corey Bojorquez. He had three punts against the Patriots and wasn’t getting his usual distance by averaging only 40 yards per punt. This is about 10 yards less than his season average.

Buffalo Bills Week 8 Final Grade

The Buffalo Bills were able to do something they haven’t been able to accomplish since 2011 which is beat the New England Patriots in Bills Stadium. However, there should be some context around this accomplishment which is this was a Patriots team that was dealing with injuries to a number of key players like Julian Edelman, N’Keal Harry, and Stephon Gilmore.

In the end, though, the Buffalo Bills did exactly what they set out to do and that came away with a win. They were able to get the ground game going with Devin Singletary and Zack Moss and aside from the Josh Allen interception played largely mistake-free.
