These are the grades for each position for the Buffalo Bills in Week 8.

The Buffalo Bills did what they had to do as they were able to secure a 24-21 victory over the New England Patriots. This week’s victory though looked very different than the previous games this season as it was the run game that was able to carry this team to victory while Josh Allen had one of his quieter games of the seasons.

Let’s take a look at each position as I hand out my grades for their performance from Week 8 against the New England Patriots.

Quarterback

As mentioned previously, this was Josh Allen’s quietest game of the season as he only attempted 18 passes in this game, which was 29 fewer than his per game average this season. He finished the game with 154 passing yards, 23 rushing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown and one interception.

However, he didn’t have to do more than that because the Buffalo Bills finally got their run game going.

The biggest blemish from this game was that interception which came late in the first half. It set the Patriots up for their second field goal of the game that brought them within one point. In a game where he wasn’t asked to do too much, it is hard to give him a grade any higher.

Grade: C
