Damien Harris
As the New England Patriots lose wide receivers, their gameplan will likely shift to picking up yards on the ground. While Cam Newton will be a part of this, the responsibility will likely fall on running back Damien Harris.
Harris was selected in the third round of last year’s NFL Draft and is a bigger running back that can pound the rock and wear defenses down. He has dealt with injuries to start the year but since returning in Week 4 has been the primary running back for the Patriots with 33 carries in three games.
This has to be a bit of a concern for the Buffalo Bills as the run defense has struggled recently, specifically against the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Bills can build a lead in this one, it could take away what the Patriots would want to do by pounding the ball and grinding it out. This would also limit the impact of what Damien Harris is able to do in Week 8 as well.
